We have been playing the game over the last week and we are ready to give you our impressions. Firstly, let us start off with the gameplay mechanics and the workings of the game.

We feel that Zen Studios have done an excellent job bringing Marvel Pinball to the 3DS in terms of gameplay. The game works very well, there is no lag in gameplay and the control scheme and fluidity of the game are perfect.

Tables work perfectly, providing a similar to console experience in terms of gameplay. You will certainly not have any trouble using the game and it’s controls, the game has been developed well.

In terms of graphics, the game ranks in at good. Some parts of the pinball tables look pixelated and grainy, however, the 3D is done quite well and can often help in improving gameplay. The backgrounds and sprites are done well, albeit slightly pixelated. The graphical end of the game does not shape up to console experiences, however, the 3D adds a sometimes useful effect.

Sound effects in the game are brilliant and sound like a real machine, there is no doubt that Zen Studios have perfected the sound and it has resulted in a perfect array of sound effects for the game, hats off to Zen Studios in that respect!

This game will keep you interested for quite a while if you travel often. 20-30 minute bursts of the game are excellent during bus or train journeys and the game is very fun to play once you do not play it for too often in long periods. This game is clearly intended for short, fun gameplay experiences.

Overall, I feel Zen Studios have done a great job in bringing the MARVEL PINBALL experience to the 3DS, here are the scores:
