Following the rumours of a block on used games for the next Xbox and Playstation, Sony’s Jack Tretton has voiced his opinions that used games should not be blocked. Gamers began to worry at the thought of not being able to trade in games.

In the latest Bonus round, Tretton reports he is “opposed to blocking used games” on the next generation Playstation, and he feels that it would be an “anti-consumer” move. He feels used games are “great for consumers” but of course still adopts the online pass strategy that publishers have introduced.

He doesn’t confirm this will be the case everywhere, “Japan might think something different” he said
