A new DLC pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was announced and dated by Bethesda Softworks this afternoon. The DLC expansion will be called HEARTHFIRE and will arrive on Xbox 360 over the next couple of weeks, read on for more….

HEARTHFIRE will bring a new system to Skyrim, allowing you to build a house “from the ground up” and to adopt your own children. It will be available from 6th September on Xbox 360 and cost the small price of 400 Microsoft Points.

The Steam release will presumable be 4-5 weeks after the Xbox release. PS3 users still have no date for either this expansion, or, the original expansion, Dawnguard. Here is the trailer for the expansion:
