Ratchet and Clank, the beloved mascots of Sony and Insomniac Games since some of the earlier days of the Playstation 2 have finally been granted a movie. When you think about it, the series is probably one of the most suited towards a feature-film outing and, if all goes to plan, the film should be very enjoyable. Read on for the trailer and more information…

The 3D platform game series is one of Sony’s most popular, having being hailed by critics since it’s PS2 days. The original and its three PS2 sequels all went down as excellent titles, with the FUTURE trilogy on PS3 getting similar praise, particularly the final game of the trilogy, A Crack in Time. Generally, the games have a good storyline and feature quite a bit of humour, so, if the same writers will be working on the film, it should turn out to be a great see. If not however (and the film moves towards some of the more recent R&C games), it won’t be quite as successful.

I personally cannot wait to see more information about this and I hope it turns out to be a great success and we get to see an engaging, enjoyable film involving the duo on screen in 2015. Stick with ITB for more gaming & technology news and reviews.
