Sony confirmed that they will be pushing for all PS4 games to be made playable on the PS Vita system using the REMOTE PLAY functionality on the console. Knack, an upcoming Sony-published PS4 title was shown running seamlessly and without lag on the PS Vita. Read on for the full information and details, along with an explanation of how this works…

Knack is run and rendered on the PS4 system, but the PS4 then sends the visual output wirelessly to the PS Vita, with the help of the Gaikai streaming service which is deeply connected with the PS4 system and the new PSN. This allows almost lag-free, instant play and control on the PS Vita, for a game being rendered using the PS4.

Sony wishes for all games to be supported by this feature, and will be revealing more in due course!
