Fans of the Playstation 4 have taken to Twitter to comment and combat the possibility of DRM on Sony’s upcoming console. This campaign started with rumours this morning that Sony may be considering implementing DRM on their console, akin to the Xbox One system in which you must pay to unlock used games on another console.

The hashtag #PS4NoDRM is being used to discourage Sony from implementing a DRM system similar to the Xbox One’s on the Playstation 4. Tweets are currently coming in every few seconds using the hashtag and I expect the hashtag will become a trending topic very soon.

Some Sony employees have commented on the passion of Playstation fans who are speaking about what they want in the console. Even though the views of the employees do not necessarily represent the views of the company, it is good to know the employees are listening:
