Sony announced that Playstation Plus is getting further improvements during their GAMESCOM conference today (which, I must say, was fantastic), now allowing 1GB of cloud storage space, compared to the previous 150MB. It is also on the way to the Vita…

You will now be able to upload up to 1GB of save games, compared to the previous measly 150MB of space. This should be enough space to allow almost anyone – myself included (even with all my review games!) – to backup all their save files.

Red Dead Redemption will be the game of the month during September in EU (US remains to be confirmed) and a discount of 25% on a year subscription will be available to European users in September.

Sony finished by teasing that Playstation Plus will be coming to the PS VITA in September and promised we’ll be getting more details very, very soon!
