Bungie’s new project, Destiny is set to hit Xbox 360 next year according to contracts. The series will have 4 games, coming between 2013 and 2019 and will also have a huge DLC pack every 2 years (ie. Game in 2013, DLC in 2014, Game in 2015 etc.). The contract states the game will first release on the 360 and later on the next Xbox and Playstation.

Activision has released a contract they have made with Bungie. The LA Times reports: “The first Destiny game will initially only be available on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 consoles, as well as its potential successor, which the contract refers to as the ‘Xbox 720′. Later games would be made for Xbox consoles as well as Sony Corp.’s expected successor to the PlayStation 3, and on personal computers.”

Another clause of the contact confirms Bungie are developing a marathon sequel but cannot have more than 5% of their staff working on the project.

“Bungie would be entitled to royalties ranging from 20% to 35% of ‘operating income’, the amount left over after Activision deducts its costs, including development, production and marketing expenses.” according to the Times.
