Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has been moved forward in the release window. Previously scheduled to launch on Friday, November 1st, the game will now launch on Tuesday, October 29th on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The next gen release date has remained unchanged, and a new story trailer has been released.

Ubisoft today made the bizarre announcement that they would be pulling forward the Assassin’s Creed IV release date to October 29th, just three days earlier than its previous scheduled release date. This change only affects the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, as the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U versions will still launch on November 22nd, as originally planned.

A new story trailer was also released, which has been embedded above. We hope to bring you a review of this title shortly after its release date, so please stick with us for more from Black Flag!
